A safety net for meeting new friends in person
Before you meet someone in person, you deserve a quiet way to keep one trusted person in the loop. Kindred's safety net does that without tracking your location.
How it works
- Save one trusted contact: a name and a phone number.
- Before a meet-up, take thirty seconds to start a session: who you are meeting, where, and when you expect to be home.
- Your session gets a link your trusted contact can open to see those details.
- When you are home, tap “I'm safe” to close it. If something feels off, one tap opens a text to your contact on your own phone and shows a button to call them.
What it does not do
No live GPS tracking. No ongoing surveillance. Your location is never sold. You can also block or report any member at any time.
Questions
Does Kindred track my location?
No. The safety net only shares what you type in — who, where, and when you expect to be home — with the one person you choose.
