Make friends as an adult — people who build you up
Most adults are lonelier than they admit. Kindred is a friendship app: it helps you meet people who share what actually drives you — values, growth, purpose — and stay with you past the first hello.
Who it is for
Adults who are surrounded by people and still feel alone. People who moved to a new town, outgrew an old circle, or simply want friends who want them to become more, not less.
How friendship matching works
- You start with a purposeful onboarding: your values, your purpose, and the life you are building.
- Your first week is a Becoming Week. Discover stays closed on purpose while you journal, read your first letter, and find a place to show up. You can still join a purpose group right away.
- After that, Discover shows people on a similar path, matched by shared purpose and growth first, values next, hobbies last.
- Each Sunday, Kindred can send one curated match with an honest read on why you would grow together — once you have shown up for yourself that week.
Past the first hello
Connections you accept become your circle. Either of you can start The Knowing: for seven days you each answer one honest question privately, then both answers are revealed on day eight. When a friendship runs its course, you can end it with care and a short private reflection instead of a silent fade.
