Purpose groups: small circles of three to six people
A purpose group is a small circle of three to six people, each oriented around a shared purpose — so friendship serves growth, not just company.
Who it is for
Anyone who would rather belong to a few people than scroll past hundreds. Purpose groups are open from your first day on Kindred, even while Discover is still closed during your Becoming Week.
What you get
- A short list of groups with room, so you can join one that fits what you care about.
- Your own groups in one place, with the people in them.
- The option to start a new purpose group yourself and invite others in.
How it works
Create your account, finish onboarding, then open Purpose groups in the app. Join a group with room or start your own. Small numbers keep it personal: everyone can actually know everyone.
Questions
How big is a purpose group?
Three to six people, so everyone in the circle can actually know each other.
Can I join a group before I meet anyone one-on-one?
Yes. Purpose groups are available from your first day, even during your Becoming Week.
